March Jump Up at Fong's Pizza - Coconut Castaways had a great time at this funky chinese/pizza/tiki place.

Coconut Castaways 1st Annual Cabin Fever Party - we gathered at Castaways Bar & Grill for this fun event.  Everyone enjoyed the tiki bar and water park, and we were able to make a nice donation to The Heart Connection Children's Cancer Programs.

Drake Involvement Fair - Julie, Marc and Tammy attended the Fair which is for Drake students interested in volunteering.  We had a great deal of interest from students wanting to help at future events.

Castaways Ho-Ho-Holiday Party - The Castaways went to The Game for a pajama party on a cold, snowy night.  Club members dropped off gifts for the adopted family, chose angel tags for gift ideas, brought Toys for Tots and had a fun, tropical gift exchange.

Castaways Adopt-a-Family for the holidays - Club members from all over pitched in to make it a great holiday for a Des Moines family.  Special thanks to Rasmussen Bike Shop for the great deal!  Also, playing the part of Santa's elves were the "Rasmussen Death Squad 5000 Racing Team".  They donated $200 to the bike purchase.  Thank you everyone!

Race for the Cure - October 24, 2009 - The Castaways and friends provide fun in the cold at the water stop for the event.  There were over 25,000 participants!
